Hi all-and what a wet one here today. I have the weatherbug programme on my computer for the forecasts Roundelder which is OK.
My daughter is fetching some rabbit food this morning from the large store nearby so I have asked her to see if there are any spare cardboard boxes for packing up china etc.
We have a marrow in the fridge and just found a recipe  for it 'stuffed marrow' with veg and cheese so we will be trying that later.
Hope the weather improves for your gardening jobs Sue and BB it looks as if the drizzle is here with us for the day.

I think the whole of the country must have the rain today.  It looks like we won't be moving the greenhouse now until tomorrow morning as the wind is picking up also.

It has been dry here for a couple of hours now but the wind is getting up. All the leaves are blowing down our drive as usual!! I have managed to stake the Rudbeckia back up, but I didn't stay outside too long as it nearly blew my wig off!Big Smile

OH will be coming home 6pm-10pm today so we are getting a chinese takeaway and watching the TV for a couple of hours! It's funny the things you miss isn't it?

Hello all, been having some quiet time and you've all been busy!

Hope you enjoy your time with your husband at home, BB. That's good that they're letting him come home regularly and it sounds like you've chosen a nice comforting way to spend your time.

It's wet and very windy here today.

Hello Miranda- We are all having a quiet afternoon today.
OH made some lemon cup cakes and a lemon drizzle cake this morning, then we  made some home made lime and lemonade  from 3 limes and 8 lemons-it was easy to make and made a nice sharp drink-it is cooling down in the fridge now. I had the recipe from the video link below:-

    http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Lemonade

We still have some cupboards to empty and move around but having a rest at the moment with a coffee and one of OH's cakes.
Enjoy your takeaway with OH  tonight BB!Stick out tongue

Hi Miranda, I don't blame you having some peaceful time, it is very underrated in my opinion.

Richard all your lemon recipes sound delicious. Forget the cupboards and stick with the cake!!Big Smile

It is raining again here so we only had a couple of hours respite from it really. One lot of Rudbeckia is on the slant again but they will have to wait till tomorrow now.

Sue, I assume you have moved your fig plant? Did you get some ripe figs?

Hi all-its a lovely day here sunny but windy good for clothes drying as long as they don't blow away.
Hope you had a good evening BB and enjoyed your take away with OH.
We have a heavy settee to take upstairs todaySurprise so that will keep us fit.
It seems that you will be able to move your greenhouse today Sue with a bit of luck if its not too windy. Smile

It was lovely here first thing so I put a load of washing on and then it started raining and the wind really picked up.

Hope your greenhouse hasn't blown away, Sue!

I've been taking down two large wall display units today-monsters, brown conti board from the 1970''s,cupboards on the bottom third, then shelves in the middle and glass doors on the top. We have a lot more room now -but we have to find somewhere to put the things that were inside, attic again I supposeSmile

Has anyone done anything in the garden today?-I haven't as I've been indoors- I enjoyed my extra hour being lazy in bed this morning!

Hi all, it has been sunny and very windy here today, it only took an hour for the washing to dry on the line and it was well pegged on so as not to blow away.  The greenhouse hasn't blown away yet and will definitely get moved tomorrow whatever the weather.

The fig plant is still in the greenhouse BB and will stay under cover tooSmile

We had a lovely meal out which lasted for most of the afternoon and we haven't that long been back.

Hi All, I'm glad you had a nice meal out Sue. Those long leisurely meals with loads of chat in between are the best!!

Another busy day Richard! We will have to start nicknaming you 'Mr. Shifter' like the old PG Tips advert with the chimps. Anyone else remember the advert with the chimps as removal men!

I haven't done a single thing in the garden today, apart from pulling up another parsnip to have with my dinner. OH came home again this afternoon 2pm-6pm. Yes We had a lovely Sat evening - the trouble is he didn't want to go back!!

I had to work all weekend - beginning to feel as though I'm in danger of forgetting the way to the allotment!

Whether you think you can do a thing, or think you cannot, you are right.
