    I have a huge array of things for killing brambles but would someone please tell me something from their experience that actually works. poppikin

     Many things work, but they all require persistance in my experience. I don't know of anything that is guaranteed to work first time.

     I haven't used chemicals for many years and pull, cut or dig up any brambles I want out.If I had to use a chemical it would probably be SBK Brushwood killer which used to work a treat, needed a couple of applications. Note the compositon may have altered in the past twenty years to comply with changes in regulations.

    Thank you Nigel. I pull and dig but have got a very large tough patch of just brambles. I have ordered some from Amazon. I see it is made by Vitax and I have got some good products from them. Did it used to be? I bought the ready made stuff because I found the mixing before a bit much. Thanks for help. poppikin
