Am I being really stupid, but I cannot see how to access this Forum on the new RHS website? I access the Forum through my bookmarks but is it actually on the new site?

On mine it comes up if I click on 'Active discussions' at the top or 'View All forums' at the bottom right.

Not stupid. On the Main RHS website there is no obvious link to My Garden. You can accessthe same blogs  you can see on the My Garden home page, but the format is very different to the the one accessed from My Garden. I also searched for My Garden on theRHS home page no joy. Logged in again no joy with the search,. You can access something called "conversations" but it appears to be that a different registration is required.

I have emailed webmaster (contact us page) re absence of link.

Assuming this is the redesign, originally mentioned a year or more ago, I rather like it.

Hi Nigel, if there is no link on the new site then presumably no one new can join the Forums, so what does that mean I wonder? It will be interesting to see what reply you get.

Hi kaydee, I don't see any of those links on the new RHS home page. Do you sign in to the RHS before you see them? Blackstart

I can't find any of the links that kaydee has mentioned either, I tried looking without logging in and logging in on my membership.

Any chance of taking a screen shot kaydee so we can see which page you are on when you see the links please?

Hi Sue and Blackstart. Kaydee's links can be found on the MyGarden home page. I think wires got crossed somewhere.

Having received info from the web team.  I searched mygarden.rhs.org.uk  Then saved it in my bookmarks/favourites.  Then straight in.

     Evening: finally had a response:

    Hi Nigel

Thanks for your reply. Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your original enquiry on the feedback form about the MyGarden Forum. We are planning to make changes to the MyGarden Forum over the next few months and as a result, have reduced its visibility to new users. Hence why you can’t see a link to it from the main site. Further announcements regarding this will be made on the Forum site once we have a clearer idea of the time plan.

     Nigel

Evening. I've just received a further email from the RHS.

    Hi Nigel,

The my garden forum is under review and we have currently not come to a decision but once we have I am certain that all memebrs will be emailed to let them know what is going to happen to the my garden forum.

     Kind regards

     RHS Webmaster

Not as optimistic sounding as the first one.

Oh not so good. I can't believe that a site this large and well known will not have a forum facility on it, it will be a shame. As I have been studying with for my Level 2 with the RHS for the last year, and will be until Feb 2015, I was really hoping to get in touch with others doing the same course to chat too. I don't think there is anywhere else I can do this as I am an external candidate studying at home so not attached to any college :(
