Although apple trees don't grow brilliantly in my area I would like to try a Bramley's Seedling. I'm prepared to buy another variety as a pollinator but I understand that Bramley's does better with two. However a neighbour has a quince tree and I'm hoping that will do. Any ideas?

Hi, I can't give you a positive answer as my knowledge of fruit pollination is limited. However, I have always believed that, unless self fertile, an apple must be pollinated by a different variety/cultivar of the same fruit. Blackstart
