3 plants I'm not sure about

  Reply | Contact photo 1 gladioli.JPG Hello all, there are three plants in my mums garden I'm not 100% sure about, so looking for some knowledgeable person to enlighten me :D I think the first one with the red flowers is maybe a gladiolus? The second one, which looks like a small tree with very dark purple leaves I haven't a clue, and the third one I want to say maybe is a Japanese maple? or a creeping variation of one. Cheers D
