Hello all, I need help please. I saw this plant at my backyard and want to put it in a pot. Can anyone identify if this is a plant or a weed? Does anyone know the name?

It's not any weed I've ever seen before. I think it's some kind of sedum or other succulent.

Thanks guys for the replies. I also did a little bit of a research. I reckon if it’s a variety of weed, it is still a weed, and I have no choice but to get rid of it. Weeds are pest in the garden and I can't have this type of a plant anywhere in my yard. :-(

Adam, no idea where you live.

I have a feeling it may not be wet, damp cold UK.

Here this is concidered a houseplant.

It is often grown for fun in offices, where everyone gets to take a baby plantlet.Where it also survives long periods og neglect!

It would certainly never survive a British winter outside.

Quote wiki...."As a succulent plant, K. daigremontiana can survive prolonged periods of drought with little or no water. It is however not frost-hardy and typically dies if subjected to temperatures below freezing."

Hi Silver surfer, Yep, you're right. I'm not in UK but Gold Coast, QLD. We have the most sublime winter weather around here and always get warm summers. I looked online and saw the flowers of Kalanchoe daigremontiana are pretty and they have this very unusual method of self propagation. That being said, **sigh** thought I would need to get rid of it.
