    Hi Members

I have just moved into a new house in the garden was a hydrangea which I have never had before its flowers where very old crispy infact I quickly cut them off then left it as I am busy with new house unpacking and clearly tons of ivy but now new flowers have grown but seems too heavy for the stems I guess I should have cut it back to start with but now it has flowers which are lovely I,m worried now if I cut it back now would it flower again ?

    Kind Regards

Hydrangea heads can be quite heavy - I don't think that's something to worry about.  I've just received one as a gift, and each of the flower heads was staked - just a shortish stick stuck through each one and into the soil to keep it standing upright: you could give that a go?
