I have come across jelly like faeces in different parts of the garden. They are ovoid in shape, mucky pond green in colour and very slimly looking. They are deposited in clumps. Anyone got any ideas as to what these could be?

My guess is algae or slime mould, which is hardly surprising after the amount of rain we've had this year.

Sounds like sue1002 has it spot on - slime mould or algae
