For this one the one I need to know is the sad looking thing with the red flower. I'm tempted to dig it out as it seems a bit out of place but with some tlc will it improve? Thanks

Thank you Silver Surfer for this and for other id's. I'll go and look up how to turn this rather sad specimen into something like the Google pics in your link! It will be beautiful then. Thank you again. Sadie

I've got this euphorbia. It took a while to get going, but is now maginificent and I've divided it to make more plants. Maybe yours just needs more time to get going? I don't do a lot to mine, other than stop other things covering it and cutting down dead stems. Don't be too quick to cut it down after flowering as often the leaves get good autumn colour. The sap can be an irritant, so if you do cut any stems before it dies off at the end of the year, either wear gloves or was your hands and arms afterwards.
