    I have grown my tomato plants from seed in compost plugs then potted them on in the specified compost. I've been acclimatising them over the last two weeks but a couple have died and some of the others have whitened dried tips to the leaves. ?what is this? Anything i can do? Thanks

     Sounds like it could be physical damage - wind or sun scorch.

     Usually white leaves are a result of the wind or too much sun, check out this post it might tell you more;
