    Calderdale Colleges’ Horticulture students are looking to help out local businesses and community organisations by maintaining their green spaces.  

    The students are looking for project gardens to provide regular weekly maintenance for and are offering to provide their time for free to help out local businesses and community organisations!   The students have skills in many aspects of gardening such as weeding, pruning, planting schemes, planting advice and plant division and would like to work on established gardens and green spaces in the local area.

    Well done.

    This really is a wonderful idea.  I sincerely hope that the efforts of the college prove fruitful and beneficial to all.  It will, I am sure.  Not only encourage those outside of the organisation but.  It will do much to break down the barriers between the learned ones and the less knowledgeable.  Well done.
