Hi,
I would love to give my wedding guests seeds to plant as wedding favours. My wedding is in mid July and ideally I would like them to be able to plant the seeds straight away, so they don't lose or forget about them. Can anyone recommend anything that I could give them? I would prefer a flowering plant, but non-flowering or edible is fine. Flowering in autumn or winter would be good, but not necessary. Also, if they could be light blue that would fit with the wedding theme, but that isn't necessary as I know that is a lot to ask. Thank you very much for your help. All the best, Jacqui

From experience Dahlias are a good seed to plant in summer for Autumn and winter flowering.

Simply harvest the seeds from pollinated flowers, dry them out and then
package them for giving as wedding favour seeds. They'll make a nice
surprise for the guest when they decide to grow them. It's also possible to get personalised wedding favour seeds, where the
packet is printed with your wedding details. Your guests can then
remember what seeds they planted and why they planted them.
