I'm not sure if this has been covered before or not.... I have very limited space and want to grow courgettes. Can they be grown vertically (eg. up a wigwam/canes like runner beans)? If so, can anyone recommend a good variety for this method? Thanks, Jim

Yes they can - any of the trailing varieties should do OK.

Trombolino will climb up supports and is an unusual shape - snake like and pale in colour.  I can't vouch for its flavour but Jamie Oliver grows it.

Thanks. I'll look out for the trailing ones.

Trombolino is a wonderful variety, it looks amazing, grows up a wigwam producing fruits for a long period, and most importantly tastes good! I planted too many plants for the neighbourhood to keep up with eating last year, so quite a few fruits got to marrow size, but still tasted good without seeds etc - and made wonderful additions to cakes.
