Hello horticulturalists, recently an associate of mine informed me that Aberdeen won Britain in Bloom so many times that they were banned from taking part in it. I declared him a cretin and claimed this was nonsense to which he replied by showing me the wikipedia articles [1] and [2]. They both cite a reference to a local newspaper but the links contain no relevant information. Can anyone please verify this as the nonsense that it seems, so that I can edit the wikipedia page and feel smugly superior to my dim witted friend. Thanks for your time, Tosker [1]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aberdeen#Parks.2C_Gardens_and_Open_spaces [2]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_spaces_and_walkways_in_Aberdeen
