Strangely sue1002, he is a very quiet relaxed little fellow, he gets into mischief when bunter encourages him

That is quite surprising Digger for a large breed young dog to be quiet but then come to think of it, Fred was so laid back so it's not that surprising really. Sorry to hear your news and hope everything does work out ok for you.

Hi sue1002, Yes I expected Zeus to be quite a handful I've never had any dealing with his breed before, but he is a big lazy lump and so soft and cuddly he's the first rottweiler I've kissed on the nose!!Bunter does encourage devilment though and they have had some chewing fun in the garden and with one of the cushions from the couch. I am not worried about the dodgy prostate and really I don't want anyone to be too concerned, there are many things left open to me, I just want to get back to the Republic and "chillax" I've done some really cool things in my past and I've been lucky enough to be able to travel quite a lot and meet all manner of folks. My trip to the punjab with Afzhar was splendid and I made good use of my time there. I never did visit Lourdes or Mecca though and I would have liked to have seen Jerusalem also I am quite sure that some irish guiness will make me feel even better

Zeus does indeed sound like a big softie, any rottie I've come across have all been really docile.

Hi all it's cloudy and cool here today. Sue1002, never got close enough to any rottie's before OH got Zeus, I would like to take him with me but I'm told they are a banned breed in the republic. He is very very cuddly and his fur is like velvet,

He is a beauty Digger, and I really do hope things all turn out well for you. Knowing you, I'm sure once you get sorted back home, you will be able to join us again and hopefully be causing no end of mischief Will you be taking any of the pooches with you?
Yes Sue, we were both 'in the wars' at the same time before with our damn teeth! Please don't even think about having them out if they can be saved - I'm sure your dentist will advice you well on that score. So good luck for Friday, we're both wooses as far as the dreaded dentist is concerned!
Beautiful pic of your friends collie Richard, wish my garden was in such good nick too!
Nice to see you back at last Lillyrose, hope you are all better now?
I left the gh windows open by mistake overnight, and my poor cucumbers have definately bitten the dust Thankfully everything else seems to be ok!

I didn't know that rotties were a banned breed in the republic Digger. Oh dear Susiq re leaving your greenhouse windows open, have you got some more cucumber seeds to have a go with to replace the plants you lost? Yes, we're both definitely wooses on the dentist front, although my way of thinking at the moment is that as I've got another two teeth come loose, those won't be able to be saved as although the teeth themselves are ok, it's the receding gums that are the problem. I'll just wait and see how I'm feeling on Friday...

Oh dear sue1002, I hope you can get your teeth sorted but if your gums are receeded they might not be able to save them, on the plus side if you get some false teeth in, they will never give you teeth ache!! You can add me to the list of woosies susiq! I am in fear of the dentist also, and OH has to get vallium from the doctors before she will visit the dentist, she becomes a shivering shaking wreck!!. I was told that rotties were banned in the republic for some time now, I am going to e mail the garda at Cork city and find out for sure, I would like to take bunter with me susiq but OH won't let me take any of them but it's okay because they will all stay together as a pack and OH says I can come back and see them when I visit which is good that we aren't being evil toward one another, we don't hate each other and there is no one else "involved" so it's much easier OH would have carried on but I insisted that it was pointless. It's good to remain friends i think. I am going to take some plants though!!

I've already got two false teeth Digger and have had those now for about 18 months, so getting more teeth added to the plates would definitely save on getting toothache again It's good that you and your OH can still remain friends. Yes, you must take some of your plants with you, did any of your clems you had in the greenhouses survive? as you could take those with you.

Sorry to hear your news too Digger but it is good that you and your OH can remain amicable. Hope all goes well with your move in Ireland on Friday my friend. It will be good to hear from you also too when you get settled it and are online. The shopping trip went ok this morning and we are stocked up again for another week. Nicola went out on her pink trike this morning to the farm shop and brought back a load of veg in the back basket. She was worn out going up the hill to get there...you don't notice it when you are in the car Great to see you back again lillyrose after feeling under the weather....hope you are well on the mend now

Morning all, it looks like we've got back from Sasha's walk just in time It's forecasted to rain very heavily for the rest of the day so the garden will certainly get a good watering I think I'd be worn out pedalling up a hill too Richard, although I bet Nicola was glad it was on the way there and was able to freewheel down on the way home I dropped my son off at school an hour ago and is very much looking forward to the school trip to France so I hope the weather is better over there than it is here, especially for tomorrow when they go to Disneyland for the whole day. Have a good day everyone and will catch up again after work.
