Hi everyone. Just a quickie to let you know I am still alive. My very kind Son who has been ill with the flu has given me his germs and boy oh boy what germs they are. I have been in bed all day, only been up an hour, which is not me at all.

Morning all, it's wet here today and that wind is icy cold, it's going to take more than a cuppa to get warm again! I'm going to spend some time in the greenhouse this morning pricking out and potting on some more seedlings.

Those cod loins sound good Susiq It stayed very windy and nippy all day here and has only just started warming up again. I was nice and warm inside the greenhouse though with the door shut while I was pricking out seedlings and sowing some seeds. I had to re-sow some caulis and sprouts as I'd lost all the others to damping off, and sowed some runner beans and spaghetti squash.

Morning all, it's another windy day here and it looks like it won't be long before it starts chucking it down again. Have a good day everyone and will catch up again after work.

Hi all,
Sunny and cold here. Don't work too hard Sue!
Rats Richard! I forgot to water my virtual tom yesterday too So like you I've had to start all over again! We won't be winning any prizes this way will we!
Still no sign of Lillyrose, must be proper poorly
We are off to the flicks tonight, don't know what we are seeing, but if its as boring as 'The Artist' was, I won't be a happy bunny
I'm off to water in some nematodes, as I don't want the 'slimy lot' to get at my lovely cabbages

Hope you find a good film to watch this evening Susiq, do you just turn up and see what's on or is OH making the choice of film? Hope you managed to water in all the nematodes ok, I'm assuming that you're doing that in the poly and the ground is warmer in there than it is outside When I was weeding the garden the other day, I picked up loads of slugs of all different sizes that were hiding under leaves and just at the edges of the borders where grass was overhanging them. I did have a good day in work thanks Richard, it was nice and busy and when I did get chance to look out of the window, I could see my car getting washed in the several downpours we had My sarnies were good too (chicken and mayo). Hope you don't find too many of the slimy gits after all your rain.

Ha ha Sue - you are always SO spot on! OH has been making the choices of the films lately, but I got it wrong, its tomoz we are going to flicks, but when I asked him what it is, its 'Edward G' Thank god we are going to see Michael Mc soon - er he was MY choice! and yes, it was the poly for the nematodes! Good grief, finding all those of the slimy fraternity this early in the season, but well spotted you, hopefully you caught them before they could start mulitplying!
There was a horrific road crash right outside our door today, the car was completely upturned onto its roof, air ambulance etc were in attendance, and the road was closed for about 4 hours. Thankfully the people they cut out were still alive. I just pray they will do something about slowing this stretch of such a major road down somehow.

Oh dear Susiq, it sounds like you're not too impressed with the film choice this time I think next time, you must pick one to see Yes, I'm glad I found all those critters, many of them were all huddled together which made it easier for picking them all up. It sounds like the occupants of the car had a lucky escape. I think from the amount of accidents on that stretch of road, the speed limit should be reduced.

Ha ha ha, I've picked a film for next week, can't remember what its called but its a comedy (thank god) and has had great reviews!
You are right again Sue, I've already rattled off an email to our MP to get at least speed cameras put up outside of here

Morning all, it's wet underfoot from all the overnight rain but it does look like the sun is trying to come out. Don't blame you for rattling off the email Susiq, maybe you could get other locals interested in doing the same. Have a good day everyone and will catch up again after work.
