My back has completely recovered now thanks SusiqSmile, hope your aches have gone today too lillyrose.

I wouldn't be at all surprised about the price increases on all food items, it's become par for the course over the last couple of years and I noticed the eggs had gone up in price last week compared to what they were the week before.  I did read on a local newspaper site that the farmers in this area will be restricted with their water too so no doubt that will lead to higher prices too.

Maisie is making good use of the teething ring, it's a lot more chewed than the one that's in Sasha's toyboxWink

I got all the tomato seeds sown today (8 different varieties), some Dahlia and sprout seeds too, and the propagator is now full againSmile

Morning all, it's still overcast and cool here, we might be lucky enough to get a bit of sun later on.

Have a good day everyone and will catch up again after work.  Anyone want a toothache?

    Hi all,

Sorry to hear you are both still in the wars girls! Hmmm, you and I both have mega dentist phobia Sue, but I think you will be best to go see 'the dreaded one' so it doesn't get any worse. What varieties of toms did you sow? I'm trying some different ones this year too, along with a couple of old favourites.

Have you taken any painkillers Lillyrose? Hope you are pain free very soonRight Hug

We went to see Jack Dee last night in Berwick, he was brilliant, front row seatsYes I was shocked at how tiny he was!!!! Tonight we are off to see Warhorse - OH bought the tickets without me knowing about it, it wouldn't have been my choice, I just know I'll get very upset watching it!

     Hi allBig Smile
Thought I had better say hello  after not getting on here yesterdayEmbarrassed. After we went shopping the day just flew by.
My houseplants look much better now Sue after I turned them upside down and dipped them in a bucket of soapy water to get rid of the whitefly and sticky mess that was on them. You did well getting all your tomato seeds plantedYes. Sorry to hear about your toothache Sue..maybe try and put some oil of cloves on it to ease it...Confused

Hope your aches and pains have eased now lillyroseRight Hug. I don't think we are getting a hosepipe ban in our area which will be good. Nice pic of Maisie, lillyrose..I thought she was sleeping until I read what was underneath. Thank you for adding me as a friend to your Gardening FB group.Wink

Well done with the marigolds Susiq I grow those too they look great in the garden and are easy to grow too from the little feathery seeds  saved from the previous year. I am growing some potatoes for the first time this year..Sounds as though you had a jolly time seeing Jack Dee last night...hope you enjoy Warhorse tonight too. I am out with a group of friends down the local tonight. I just had to order a new tumble drier as the old one has 'died' now I fixed it a few times over the years and now the door has dropped off.Surprise

Hi all, am home from work early as the boss made me ring the dentist and I've just got back from there with some antibiotics as I have (yet another) gum infection.  I'll gladly swap you for the sore neck lillyrose as I've been awake since 2am and painkillers haven't been helping at all so I'm hoping the antib's will start to kick in soon.

It sounds like you had a fun night last night Susiq.  I haven't heard of what you're going to see tonight.

We crossed Richard, it does sound like your old tumble drier didn't want to go any more.

Sorry Susiq, I forgot to answer you on the tomato varieties, I've sown Tigerella, Black Cherry, Aunt Madge, Gardener's Delight, Tomberry, Roma VF and a new one I haven't tried before Lizzano, it's supposed to be a heavy fruiter on a bushy plant.

Thanks Richard, I'm hoping the antibiotics start to do their job soon too.  I had a 'soft' dinner tonight - chicken and mushroom soup with some mashed potato.

The Lizzano tomatoes are these ones, it will be interesting to see if mine perform like the picture on the packet.

Morning all, it's quite foggy here this morning and the sun is trying to disperse thatSmile

Yes, it was nice of my boss to let me leave early lillyrose, he was the one who insisted I rang the dentist and from the time appointment I was given, it wouldn't have been worth going back out there again to work for half an hour before leaving offWink  I had an early night last night and slept through until 5.30 so I'm feeling a bit more human todaySmile

Have a good day everyone and will catch up again after work.

Hi everyone, another sunny day here.

Sounds like the antibiotics are kicking in Sue, thank goodness, am pleased your boss saw sense! Those toms look fantastic, hope they fruit for you as much as in the picture. Nice selection of varieties too.

Sorry Lillyrose, I forgot to comment on Maisies lovely pic, she is obviously getting fantastic use out of that ring that Sue sent you - lovely white teeth tooBig Smile Warhorse wasn't as bad as I'd thought it would be, upsetty-wise, quite a good picture, bit slow at the start though.

Well you did your best Richard with the tumble dryer, at least the weather SEEMS to be taking a turn for the better, so you might get away without one for a little while.

Our guests that left after their short break, bought some jams and apple butter, and asked for more when they went - I was really chuffed, as I'm not so confident on my sweet stuff! We were up at crack of sparrows to get OH's car in for MOT, and then I've been to get even more compost and some grow bagsTongue Tied Right thats me off out to 'Roundup' the pesky groundelder, as its so fine outside.

Hi all, that's me finished at work for this week and it was quite an easy day today which was very handy, it gave me the chance to get busy on the photocopier lillyroseWink

That's excellent with the jams Susiq, your guests must have been very pleased with them to ask if you had any moreYes  Hope your OH's car did better than my OH's van did earlier on in the week, his needs a bit of welding done and a new ball joint fitted and a mate of his is going to get those sorted for him this weekend.

Glad you have a lovely time out with your pals last night Richard.
