ha ha treat yourself to a Wii Phot's - much warmer! What month is your wedding?

Well done Lillyrose and Sue on all your hard work - shame about the curtain poles though hey. OOOh don't pressurise me re the leeks and onions, I'm not exactly brimming with confidence about them! The farmer down the lane dropped me off a load of cow manure yesterday, about 4 wheelbarrows worth that I want to get mixed into the soil in the poly.

Did you get all your seeds sown Richard?

I got some dehumidifyers yesterdayYes I did like you Sue and got 6 whilst they had them! We went out for a lovely meal last night, I had lamb noisettes and they just melted in the mouthStick out tongue

Sounds like you need a very deserved 'feet-up' rest tonight Lillyrose! The murder mystery is not until tomorrow afternoon - I've been looking at 40's hairstyles and have made my mind up as to what I'm going to attempt!

Well done to Nicola getting into the final, I would imagine there was some incredible competition, hers look fantastic. Ha ha ha I think you might just know me too well RIchard, I will be trying to pursuade OH to do some of the digging in the poly! I've sown some cabbages, cauli's, tomatoes and broad beans today in propagators. I'm going to try and be more disciplined in the 'succession' sowing this year, after getting so many cauli's all at once last year!

Come on, SusiQ - show us the outfit! (Wedding is in July and if you want to see pictures of that you know what you'll have to do!)

Richard, I didn't enjoy the run but I'm sure it was good for me.

Good plan to get the house sorted before the nice gardening weather, Lillrose.

Good morning all - I wondered where you were yesterday Sue, good luck with the carpet fitting today. it looks like we are all having a sunny day Sue and looking at the clouds it looks like a wind from the east at the moment but it is coming from all directions today. I love looking at this local weather station info just a mile away from us.Geeked

After a run you do feel great Phot's I remember the feeling so well in the distant pastBig Smile

I am doing some roast pork for them today lillyrose, so will be making a start on it soon. I am sure you will enjoy your lamb.Stick out tongue You deserve a good dinner after all the extra hard work you and OH have been doing lately.

Have a good time this afternoon Susiq, I am sure that you will have a great time dressed in your gear. No, I haven't got around to doing any more planting yet but I must make a start on it this week. I planted the mini daffs out in the front in the window box, and waiting for the mesembryanthemum seeds to germinate on the windowsill. Haha I thought you may ask OH to do some digging, tell him from me it will do him the world of good!Wink

Save some of your lamb for me please lillyroseSmile  We had liver and bacon casserole.

Glad you had some sun to be able to get outside and do a little planting RichardSmile  I went and had a peek in the propagator (I haven't been in the greenhouse at all in over a week!!) and found that the caulis have germinated and so have two different types of chilliBig Smile

The carpet is finally laid, I didn't think it would take this long but we did have to put new underlay down too so it was almost like fitting two carpets.  It was handy that it was dry outside so we could lay the new carpet outside and lay the old bits from the landing and hallway on top and use as a template to cut roundGeeked  My pictures will be put back up tomorrow and then it will all be finishedBig Smile  OH said he will be going back to work for a restWink

Looking forward to seeing the pics, Sue - I like nosing round other people's houses!

Had guests for lunch so made a huge crumble with frozen fruit from the lottie. Was pleased to see I still have quite a bit left but then DISASTER! The box I thought was still full of potatoes had about three left. Seems Gary and I have been taking them from different places without realising and we've nearly finished them all. [:'(]

Morning all, it's freeeezing outside after last night's frost.

Sounds like disappointment with the spuds Phot's, although you've done well to keep enough stored for this long, does that mean you will need to grow a few more for next year to see you right through?

I'll take some pics of the decorating once we've got all my frames back up on the wall and post them later.

    Hi all,

Murder mystery was great - got a bit chaotic at times, but a good time was had by all! OH turned out to be a murderer, there were two involved in the plot! Only one person guessed who the culprits were, and it wasn't me that got it right!

Shame about your spuds Phot's, but as everyone has said, you did really well to still have any left! Er no, will not be tempted to post my pic on a public site! Might trade you a PM thoughWink

Well done on the carpet fitting Sue, you were brave to even attempt that yourselvesYes Only two of my chilli varieties have 'hatched' so far too Sue. Great that you've got some cauli's on the way.

Richard, I've given up on any type of weather forecasting sites, they just never seem to get it right! The wind is absolutely bitter here today.

Hope you get your seeds sorted Lillyrose, I've still got loads to sow, and I still haven't had the RHS ones yetSurprise I've put half of my 'show' onions and leeks in the GH with the heater on, and kept the others in the kitchen - trying to cover all options in the hope of some success!

    Chicken casserole tonight.
