    I've been told that if you pre-soak the seeds that it will speed up the germinating process prior to sowing, is this true or, is it not. I can understand it if the seed has a hard shell surface but, it has'nt, its paper thin..what do you think....

    Chilli seeds need about 3 weeks at 72f to gerinate I havent tried pre-soaking A

    It could do but is generally unecessary.

    Thanx boggy i think i'll stick to the direct approach, even if you have to be patient.
