A destruction programme is now in place but it is struggling to keep up Geoff51 Pond life!?!

  Reply | Contact Yes, apparently: https://secure.fera.defra.gov.uk/nonnativespecies/beplantwise/ The problem lies in that there are many small scale sellers of water plants who are not perhaps very knowledgeable and but their stock from abroad. The HTA are addressing this in their membership: http://www.the-hta.org.uk/page.php?pageid=345 to try and raise standards in nurseries and retailers. Boggy Beware the bat-eared bogweevil
