A big brick wall won't mind a little hole in it (much). Frogs are great climbers: ivy or similar climbing plant on each side of the wall will give them a ladder in.   Reply | Contact Two years later and I have seen two frogs in my pond . I don't know if they were the result of some frog spawn I put in a few years ago (although I never saw any tadpoles) or if they found their way there, maybe in the dry weather some weeks ago now? Whichever, I am so excited to finally have frog(s) in my garden pond after over 10 years of trying/waiting! Actually now that I'm posting these pics, I'm wondering if they are the same frog, just grown bigger after some weeks? Or is the second one a toad? I don't have much experience with frogs/toads so I don't know. This is the first one that appeared in March.  This one I saw last week.

  Reply | Contact  That's two beauties you have there Julie, they will help eat any slugs that are probably lurking about. We've got plenty of toads in the garden, I sometimes see them during the day when they are hiding behind pots or under plant foliage when I'm weeding and we quite often hear and see them at night when they come out to feed on the plentiful supply of slugs and snails around here. sue1002
