I'm doing the RHS L2, and taking the exams next year.
What is the minimum score candidates must get to receive a 'pass' grade?

I can't answer this specific question Cosmo, but thought you may be interested in what I have to say (or maybe not!) on the subject of marking . I have done a lot of marking in my life in quite a lot of different areas (mostly engineering, and science). In places where I have been, the minimum pass mark has always been 40%,but as I said I don't know if that's the same for RHS L2. I always think it is strange that 40% is a pass mark as that means 60% is wrong-or not answered! When I go to the doctors I think to myself ' I hope he had more than 40% right! '

I think it's 50%, Cosmo, but the RHS themselves will be able to answer properly. They're quite good at getting questions on the exams answered on the forum, so hopefully someone will be along soon.

Cosmo l took this off the RHS site so hope this answers your question. 10.2 Candidates need to obtain 50% in each unit in order to obtain an overall pass. Candidates failing to do this will be required to resit the unit in which they do not achieve 50%. 10.3 A Pass will be awarded to candidates who achieve a mark between 50% and 69% for both of the units. Look us all up on Facebook 'L2 Studybuddies'.
