Can anyone help identify this yelow flowered perennial - main picture shows flowers that have gone over, but they are a bit clearer in the second one.

Thanks - definately looks like it.
My mother in law bought it from a country house garden sale and didn't know what it was.
We've saved some seed so will have a go at sowing it in the spring.

It should survive the winter OK. It is hardy. It is not an annual bedding plant. It will spread and get larger each year. However, it is rather slow to emerge in the spring so don't panic! From seed you will also have to be patient!
