Level 3 with Learning Curve....

Just wondering what the level 3 with learning curve is like? I have just passed my level 2 after a year back at college. I found it a very intensive year and i wondered if i would be better to go the 'distance learning' route for level 3 so i can take my time a bit.
Can anyone tell me how they found it studying like this
