I did observe that preparations were well underway for the show during my visit to the gardens on Tuesday and it seemed quite  different from last year. My Pater, now 100 plus, is super grumpy if he feels I am wheeling around a display of indifference. He was very impressed with his visit again to the excellent glasshouse a couple of weeks ago although he felt obliged to remove his favourite fleece but does anyone have a positive opinion of this show. I would really appreciate some encouragement.

    Thank you

Like many things, you get out of it what you put in. If you go in negatively you're bound not to enjoy it. If you go to the show full of enthusiasm to enjoy the plants, talk to the people who are passionate about them, then you're going to come out all enthused too.

Beetle/Aging Misery - Please could you stop your incessant rambling and whinging about the RHS on all the various message boards. I am sure the majority of us actually want to converse about gardening issues, and enjoy the vast knowledge and friendship on these boards. Gardeners are reknowned for their generosity and kindness.

The feud that is happening between you and spade monkey is getting on my nerves - you are both acting like a couple of school boys.

Take it out of here and onto the playground so the rest of us can enjoy these message boards.

Thank you both very much for that. We are both double positive here, unless it's raining, so M25 here we come!
