I'll look at the berries this weekend, as they're ripe now. In my picture the berries hadn't developed the black "hole" like in your link, but maybe that happens as they ripen.

  solstice Location: Joined on: 07 Jan 2009 Posts: 19	Reply | Contact Now I can see a bit more clearly, we can say that it's probably Sorbus intermedia. The berries are a different shape from hawthorn and the underside of the leaves looks white in your photo - another clue!
