I have a very boggy garden and most plants i have put it have died. I covered the garden with wood chip as its only small. What plants would you suggest for areas that are very boggy and waterlogged its also clay soil to. Im desperate to get my garden going and look full so i would like lots of bushes and trees. Thanks

There's a few suggestions here for poorly drained clay soil.

Willows are great for this situation, plus quick and easy to grow - they strike easily from cuttings if you can find a tree to take them from. Be careful though as some grow very large.
Whether you think you can do a thing, or think you cannot, you are right.

That is a good link, Sue!! I didn't realize the site had this feature.
I would add Japanese irises and Japanese primroses. They are lovely for color and do well in boggy conditions. Pussywillows (a.k.a. "cattails"--I don't have the scientific names handy) are also good. They're tall grassy like clumps with tufted tips that look like tails. But these need lots of sun.
