I have to try and write this fast as my computer may randomly shut down any second! Two of my peppers are showing weird damage, as if patches of the shiny green surface of the leaves have been eaten away (they have been inside plants for most of their short lives so I don't think it's insect damage) - what is left (just in little patches, not all over the leaf, yet!) is a little like those leaf skeletons one gets for crafts and flower arranging. It doesn't look like pictures I've seen of TMV, and no one in my family or circle of friends smokes; that said I've never seen more than a drawing of the affects of mosaic virus.
They may have got too hot being on a windowsill which catches a lot of light, or it may be a disease...? Ideas!
Will post pics if my computer lasts! (huge PC issues...) One of them had a bad infestation of aphids and then was looking much better once they were removed (it had started to droop badly or I wouldn't have noticed the aphids - they came to my mum's for a few days which I think is when the aphids moved in!) They are both showing some darkening of the leaves - I thought it was just that the foliage was supposed to be variagated as they are Triffetti/Tiger chillis. One of them has a much darker stalk than the other. They both have appeared very healthy, bar the aphid attack, till I noticed this. ... photobucket is refusing to load pictures but will try again tomorrow...
