Hi there a few months ago I bought some white foxgloves from B&Q and all I've got is enormous furry leaves. Someone told me to be patient and they will come next year. My question is will the leaves remain green over winter or should I cut them down when they're finished.

    Thanks

Leave the leaves on them and they will stay green over winter.  Most foxgloves make their leaves the first year and flower in the second year.

I have the white foxgloves.  They are biennial here, and the leaves die back in winter.  Last year, I had spikes of flowers and left them on.  They re-seeded nicely last fall and flowered this past spring.  The new seedlings for this year were smaller, probably due to the weird weather.  But this variety of foxglove varies in size of plant and flower spikes.  Some are 3 feet, while other are only 8-10 inches tall.  I love it!!  Do be patient and learn to recognize the leaves so you will not weed out new seedlings later.
