I've been told that these are Asiatic Lilies - view by clicking here - is this correct? If so, are they a certain type of Asiatic Lily or is that the correct species? London Vegetable Garden

I cannot tell if they are Asiatic or Oriental lilies. They are very beautiful.
Not sure if this will help or not.

I'm no expert, but they look like asiatic type to me. Possibly Navonna. There are hundreds of varieties of lillies (all lovely imo) Are yours scented? The orientals are generally scented and orientals usually not, but there are probably lots of exceptions. Asiatic tend to have upward facing flowers, orientals are often horizontal or slightly hanging.

Oh dear - you're right, Digger. The O's are scented, the A's not (usually)
