HELP!!!!! advanced exam propagation question

    In a past paper for the Advanced there is a question regarding STEM SECTION CUTTING from a woody plant......the other parts of this question refer to nodal tip and heel cuttings but NOWHERE ca I find mention of a stem SECTION cutting.....  exam on Tuesday ....please help!!!!!

    What does the question say, kandeakay? It sounds like your regular hardwood cuttings, like here: http://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profiles1001/hardwood_cuttings.asp

    Thank you Miranda - the question

    Describe the preparation for EACH of the following types of cutting used in the propagation of woody shrubs, naming a plant example for EACH case:

    1   nodal tip

    2   stem section

    3   heel

     

    This was Module A advanced exam 2006 - half of a long answer question.

     Would the section ones be the same as internodal cuttings?
