whats wrong with my plum tree?

  Reply | Contact I have a 3 year old plum tree and last year it produced quite a few fruit and this year it started to look promising with lots of fruit forming but i noticed at the weekend that the fruits have shrivelled and become black and that the leaves look like they have died (changed from green to yellow and gone a bit curly)  but are still on the tree, at first i thought it was because we had had several days without rain but even with a good soaking it didnt help, Any advice please? The tree looks in a worse state today, it actually looks dead now. and no, i have never pruned it. Julia
