    The leaves are all stickey, and this is dropping to the ground and surrounding bushes.

     Are the leaves curled and lots of blackfly on them?  If so, the stickiness would probably be caused by the cherry blackfly

    thanks for reply, some are like that but there seems to be a lot of white and green aphids. I have washed three down with roseclear, that seems to have helped.
