Having not been to the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show before, I'm not entirely sure which day to go on. We were wondering about going on the final day, do they sell off the plants as they do at Chelsea? I don't want to buy an afternoon ticket for the final day only to discover that half the show gardens start getting dismantled as soon as I've arrived! However, a few cheap plants are always a HUGE bonus!

     Hello Geoff,

Yes there is a sell-off on the last day. Some of the exhibitors are happy to tag (cash with order) before the RHS allowed time to dismantle exhibits, I think about 4.00 pm?

Something with wheels to ferry your plants, as the barrowing service by RHS volunteers is heavily used, to your car (close to £10 to park a car at show).

Final note. Half a day for a first-timer is too little time, especially as you intend to buy too!!

    Enjoy the day, Tony.

When all at once I saw a crowd....

     Thanks Tony, that's great.

Unfortunately my friend went ahead and bought the tickets so we only have a half day on the Sunday. It's rather disappointing but at least I'm going and we can whiz around, and even look whilst we buy!
