My rosemary plant which was seemingly very healthy & green, now has completely yellow foliage which developed over a 2 week period. Any ideas?

Is the soil wet? These plants are quite hardy if the soil is dry, but more vulnerable if the roots are wet.

Whether you think you can do a thing, or think you cannot, you are right.

Would your rosemary plant be in a pot at all?

If so, remember the prevalence of answers to be found in the soil;  tip it out and inspect the roots - if rotted, dead and soft, it is goner and you should replace it in April.  Let the nurseryman take the risk until then. If roots sound it may recover and yellowness due to temporary stress.

If in garden soil wait until April - if no sign of recovery, discard and repace after changing the soil in that spot with some fresh stuff from elsewhere in the garden.

I waited to see what the others came up with - your `any ideas` question had me thinking of

    a)  trodden on    b) rolled over by a snowball   c) peed on by the local dogs, and in this weather, frozen   d) general waterlogging etc as picked up by the experts.
