As there is no recommended reading specific to Mod J, I wondered if anyone could let me have their thoughts on helpful books
Thank you.

rhs 'plants for places' is an ace digestable book which helps alot with the sorts of plants required . Also cant do much better than reffering to the rhs encyclopedia of gardening. if u start withe these - referring to the syllabus notes for Mod J - you will get the basics no probs. Im doing mod J myself just now so let me know if u got any more questions.

Thank you for your reply. I am okay with the plant selection (she said hopefully!) but find the nursery production stuff is difficult to source in books.
Exam in July!

Turfgrass Management by A J Turgeon but it is very expensive - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Turfgrass-Management-J-Turgeon/dp/0132236168/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1237314527&sr=8-1
and quite specialised. Let me know exactly what sections you need to cover and I will try and help - I have a copy of the above book

I found the modern nurseryman by Alan Toogood a good book for the nursery production side. it is quite old but useful
