How could this be so ?I love my large garden, but theres nothing left to do ! Even the greenhouse is so ready for spring and so am I !Should I follow the sun and go gardening abroad? Our soil is heavy clay..to walk on the garden means ruts a barrow out of the question so to feed the birds is fun but whats left ?

Do you have elderly neighbours who would appreciate some help tidying up their own plots? Or maybe inexperienced people locally would like some help and advice? Do you have a local Horticultural Society which runs a shop or shows or social events or has a newsletter? If so, they'd probably be very pleased to have a volunteer to help with some of these activities. Is there a local park that is strewn with litter?

Whether you think you can do a thing, or think you cannot, you are right.

    Not I!!

Rustic_rose--I know what you feel.  I think I get sort of "SAD", too.  I just live for the moment, and that seems to help.  Planning ahead does, too, but it can also make me antsy.  Try reading garden blogs!!  Try this one--I found it today:

    Enjoy!!!
