Hello fellow gardeners!
i have ordered the RHS level 2 course from HCC, it should be delivered tomorrow
i am really looking forward to starting it, and i was wondering if there is anyone else studying in Reading, Berkshire who would be interested in meeting up to study?
i work full time so it would have to be after 5pm unfortunately.
if not, it would be great to compare notes with other people studying the same course via emails/forum.
thanks for reading my post

Hi Peggy,
I too am doing Level 2 with HCC. I started in May but lost the thread a bit over the summer, and have picked it up again now: embarassingly enough have only done 2 lessons.
It's a shame I don't live nearer you, as I think meeting up with others doing same course would definately improve my rubbish motivation! But please let me know what you think of the notes when you get them?
Good luck!
Anne

Hello Anne
i have received the course work yesterday (i mean the first 3 lessons!). i read the introduction booklet and the paperwork that came with the package but haven't started studying as yet.
have you received the rest of your coursework? i was wondering if they send you the other lessons on demand or after you have finished the first 3.
good luck with lesson 3! it is a shame we are not closer as it is definitively easier to get motivated when you have someone to study with.
talk soon

Huh, they must've changed things, as I got all of it through at once (at least, I hope there's no more to come!!!!).
Actually, I did get better marks than I thought I would for the first 2 lessons, and the third looks much more user-friendly.... it could be that have got into it a bit more now, I s'pose. Or that the tutor felt if he didn't give me decent marks I'd lose all motivation completely.....
