i went to school in felixstowe (what was the old grammar school in garrison lane) and i spent most of my summers down by jacob's ladder with my schoolfriends. i used to love sitting in the pier pavillion on a stormy day watching the thunder and lightening over the sea. it's definitely a shame that the old gardens have deteriorated but perhaps when they've fixed the sea defences the council will have enough money to restore them. i was in walberswick last week and there's a big problem there with the council not repairing the sea defences (there were lots of 'gord help us' posters all over southwold because of gordon brown being there). sea defences are much more important than gardens so let's hope that when felixstowe's defences are finished the council will put more money into the gardens in the town.

It sounds like Felixtowe must have been nice in the olden days mini stroni, and people are right to be worried if Gordon Brown is coming to their town, Gordon Brown won't dare to come up here to Pendle though.
