As a result, we set up the moderated forums which are moderated by me. Posts can only go live once I accept them as being suitable. Geoff Hodge Web Editor

  Reply | Contact A moderated forum requires that the moderator or administrator approves new topics and replies before they appear on the board. Some areas are fully moderated for the reasons outline above. Other areas are moderated so that new topics have to be moderated before going live - this has been done where we want posts to be focussed on the topics shown. We have set up some areas specifically for public information such as 'The Show Round Up' Information which only the moderator can post to.

  Reply | Contact How can you moderate if we're not allowed to reply? Could you not field our replies and queries into a holding pen and then post them once checked. I wanted to ask a perfectly innocent question about the dates for Tatton as I have to start planning my summer activities now as they involve various visits to friends and relations as well as our own holiday. How offensive or dangerous could that be? Obelix - Belgium
