Since the last posting on this subject many more of the small bearded irises have come into flower.
The list of entries to trial sounds more like the line up for the Grand National than the Trials Field, with El Torito' (which received the Award of Garden Merit in 2004) setting the pace for newcomers 'Tickety Boo',
'Blubeards Ghost' 
and 'Exotic Aire'.
