Exciting development in 'The Brash'

The new woodland shelter in the Brash has been completed this week and it looks perfect. It was built for us by a local man; Ben May (who has a forest crafts business) with his assistant Jake and two of Ben’s WWOOFers Chris and Ben.

It was built to our design using Larch trunks for the uprights and chunky slab off cuts for the wavy topped half sides. The roof is clad in cedar shingles and there is plenty of seating inside. So if you are passing do take a look, and look up into the roof where there are a few surprises!

WWOOF = World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms. Young people can work at various farms, nurseries, gardens etc, living with the families and working in exchange for their board and lodging.
