Rosemoor Garden RHS Garden Rosemoor

Set deep in the beautiful North Devon Countryside, RHS Garden Rosemoor was gifted to the RHS in 1988 by Lady Anne Berry, and since then the original eight acres have been greatly developed into 65 acres of enchanting garden and woodlands. In this blog, we will keep you updated with what's going on in the garden and what's looking good when, as well as letting you know about the exciting programme of events we are holding throughout the year. Enjoy!

Mice Create a Stir in the Hot Garden!

Posted by Rosemoor Garden on 18 Sep 2009 at 11:37 AM

It's not just the visitors at Rosemoor that are taking advantage of the warm weather this September: Some of our furry friends are making the most of it too!

There were three incredibly cute looking mice in the Hot Garden yesterday afternoon, enjoying the sunshine and stuffing themselves on grasses for hours on end! Even the camera-clicking public didn't put them off - they were determined to have their fill!

Our Dormouse expert is away this week, and we are unsure as to whether they are dormice, field mice, harvest mice or indeed some other sort of mice, so if anyone can tell from the pictures, please let us know!
