Rosemoor Garden RHS Garden Rosemoor

Set deep in the beautiful North Devon Countryside, RHS Garden Rosemoor was gifted to the RHS in 1988 by Lady Anne Berry, and since then the original eight acres have been greatly developed into 65 acres of enchanting garden and woodlands. In this blog, we will keep you updated with what's going on in the garden and what's looking good when, as well as letting you know about the exciting programme of events we are holding throughout the year. Enjoy!

Get Theatrical in the Garden!

Posted by Rosemoor Garden on 30 Jun 2008 at 12:46 PM

We are getting prepared for our first Open Air Theatre performance of the year at Rosemoor, A Midsummer Night's Dream, which is being held this Friday (4 July) evening at 7.30pm.

The play is being performed by Heartbreak Productions, Britain’s premier professional open-air theatre company, who are well known for their unique style of storytelling and their passionate acting. The play promises to be magical, enigmatic and hilarious - and guarantees to enchant audiences of all ages!

The performance also offers the chance to see the Garden at its peak in the evening. The whole garden is open for you to explore, and you can even bring a picnic along from 6pm to enjoy before the play.

The weather forecast looks good at the moment, so if you fancy a theatre production with a twist, you can book by calling 01805 626800. Tickets cost £12. The performance lasts approximately 2 hours including an interval. To maximise your enjoyment, please bring low-backed chairs, a picnic, extra clothing and insect repellent.
