Joe Swift, Caspian Robertson and myself on BBC last Friday

Well, what a mad week it was last week. Rushing back from a long weekend in the Lakes on Monday night, I had to be on site at Hampton Court Flower Show looking respectable at 9am the next morning to do some filming with the BBC.

The young designer, Caspian Robertson, had been inspired by our Plants for Bugs research to create a Low Cost, High Impact show garden entitled 'Bugs in Boots'. By making space in his design for insects and packing the beds with RHS Perfect for Pollinator plants, the space was buzzing with wildlife. Thanks to Caspian for his good work and, not least, distributing 2 whole boxes of Plants for Bugs handouts!

Catch the action on BBC iPlayer - Hampton Court coverage Episode 3, 18 minutes in.
