
Apologies to those with arachnid fears for jumping straight in with a picture of a spider but isn't it a great pic to see her with the egg sac (the big white silken ball tucked carefully underneath her body)? I guess not everyone will agree!
Moving swiftly on...
The key task I set our volunteers this last couple of weeks has been to replace some of the old rotten climber posts and to create a dozen new climber supports. Our two newest volunteers - John and Jenna - worked hard with Judi, and soon a production line in one of the sheds was in full swing. The supports are pretty simple, made from a role of chicken wire and three bamboo canes, but it will do the job of the keeping the honeysuckles off the floor.
