Flower power at Hampton Court Show

I absolutely love it when plants start to turn up for show gardens: there's a real sense of tingling excitement to see all the colour, shapes and forms being put near the garden, ready to lay out for planting. Crocus and Hardy's Cottage garden Plants delivered the first batch of plants on Saturday morning - wow, what gorgeous plants! Tall Agapanthus with blooms the size of footballs (very appropriate given the current sporting conditions), stunning Cephalaria gigantea and sweet peas amongst the beauties delivered. Planting begins in the 1909 garden area first thing Monday morning with the help of guiding volunteers. Hope they remember their suncream!
