The Devil came down to Tatton

There's a definite theme of red devils in the Clive Scott Lucifer (Talk of the Devil) garden at this years Tatton Park Flower Show.
Inspired by the rich red Crocosmia ‘Lucifer' and seasoned with devil touches the design in simple but very striking.

"Crocosmia ‘Lucifer' flowers now and it's one of my favourite perennials," says Clive Scott, garden designer. "And because of the ‘Lucifer' connections I have used Devil themed accoutrements. There are recycled steel horns and a tail of the devil, plus his and her benches. Her bench has a glass of red wine and a copy of The Devil Wears Prada. His bench has a bottle of beer and a Manchester United book because they are nick named ‘The Red Devils'".
Look out for the soft mix of Stipas and cornflowers, they soften the edges and set the scene.
