A load of old Knickers

There's a whole load of dirty washing at this year's RHS Hampton Court Flower Show. Several washing lines loaded up with underwear have been heavily disguised and planted with a variety of flowers and vegetables.

There are bras filled with lettuce and knickers bursting with tumbling tomatoes, all in an effort to bring some fruity fun to 'Grow your own'.

What a shame no one planted some pants up with milk thistle (Silybum), it is a herb after all, so just fits the brief (pardon the pun!). I'm sure there are lots of other vegetable double entendres to be found, or indeed some more juvenile plant associations.

It's great to see the RHS being innovative, humourous and even a little radical, but let's push the boundaries even further and think outside the (vegetable) box.

What do you think?
