It's been a while since my last post but as Tatton is fast approaching I thought it's about time I started blogging again.
Well ladies and gents, we have certainly got something to shout about this year! The BFA is delighted to bring the Eurofleurs competition to Tatton Park this year. Finalists from all over Europe will be competing against one another to win the Eurofleurs trophy and be crowned 'The Best Young Florist in Europe'
We have currently received entries from Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Finland, Hungary and of course our very own candidate Joseph Massie who will be representing the UK
The workmanship in this competition will be of the highest standard and the competitors will be creating some stunning pieces of floristry all themed around Tatton Park and it's surroundings.
Since 1998, FLORINT (The European Florist Federation) has organised a contest named EUROFLEURS. This contest serves as a comparison in craftsmanship and creativity between young florists with a maximum age of 25, originating from different countries. This competition gives young florists the opportunity to put their first steps on an international platform. As a general rule, the Eurofleurs Cup takes place every 4 years. One young florist of each member country is allowed to take part in the contest.
